Vodafone Upgrade mailing

The launch of the iPhone put a number of Vodafone high value customers at risk. The strategy to mitigate this risk included proactively contacting some of the highest risk customers offering them a choice of top end handsets in return for an 18 month recommitment. A direct mail piece was sent out to customers, with an outbound call following up response 1 or 2 days afterwards. The strategy worked, with 1 in 5 customers recommitted to Vodafone.
